Say Hello to Our Kitchen

      Having a nice kitchen makes a big difference. It is the place where we prepare our foods. We want our kitchen to be as clean and desirable as possible for health reason. Our kitchen is not that big nor that small. For a couple with no children yet, I can say that its size is perfect for us. But it bothers me because most of the appliances we have are white in color including our counter top tiles, grout and even our cupboards. It is really hard to upkeep its cleanliness especially we both are busy with our work. I have been debating with my husband to change the paint of our cupboard doors but he told me that it is not possible because they are made directly with the manufacturer. It means that we have to replace the entire cupboards. That's another huge expenses. In fact we tried to fix some areas especially where the handles because it started to show wear and tear. We tried to paint it with the color that is almost exactly the same one we have right now because we can't find the exact color. But it doesn't last long. We have to repaint it at least twice a year and it's getting worse as the time goes by.

     Our microwave oven, toaster, blender, rice cooker, coffee maker, bread maker, kettle, sink and two trash cans in our kitchen are all white. If we don't clean it as often as possible, we surely be wondering one day why its color started to change from white to off-white.  Well, I have to admit even though it's tough to maintain the cleanliness in our kitchen but I am very fortunate to have a husband who is very conscious about cleanliness. He always help me in cleaning our house and he even did wash the dishes many times.

    We have a huge expenses coming. Changing and replacing what we have in our kitchen right now is on the bottom list of our priorities. But I would really love to do a make-over someday.
