Glass Watering Sphere
My friend Rebecca of Cacai's Step and Journey, Cacai M.'s Place and Thoughts, Ideas and Resources gave me few things that were incredibly beautiful a week before my birthday. One of those things is a glass watering sphere. This is really a very nice gift most especially that I have many flowering pots. I may not be able to use it in all the plants but I will surely be able to use it in one pot especially the one that dried out quickly like my eggplant which is planted in a pot. Actually I have 5 eggplants and three of those eggplants are planted in the pots and the other 2 are in the ground.
How to use the Glass watering Sphere: (Do not insert the watering sphere into the soil without making a hole because it might break the shaft. You can use a small stick or a garden tool in making the hole)
* Fill the bulb with 95% water
* Insert the shaft of the Glass Watering Sphere into the created hole in the soil holding the bulb at a slight angle to pass the air. Push the bulb firmly into the soil in order to help the the sphere not to fall.
How the Glass Watering Sphere works:
As the soil starts getting dry, it releases oxygen into the bulb, which in turn releases the exact amount of water that plant needs.
Large plants may need more than one Glass Watering Sphere for proper watering while smaller plants may need only one sphere.
Thanks Beck for this wonderful gift..
