Lemon Grass

       Lemon grass is quite popular in the Philippines. We use it particularly in fish or vegetable soup and even in roasted pig and chicken. I really like the aroma of the Lemon grass. Every time I see a Lemon grass it will always remind me in the place where I grew up. I've tried several times to grow this grass in our backyard (here where I recently live) but I failed. I tried to plant it for the last time again and fortunately it survives even during the cold winter last year. I have two Lemon grass plant. They are not as healthy and good looking like the one we had in the Philippines but I am very happy about it. For several occasions I used the Lemon grass when I made chicken with vegetables and coconut soup. Yummy...
