The Caddy Stack Game

      Are you familiar with the game show, A minute to win it in NBC Network? I've learned a lot of games from this show using things we can find in our own home. One game I tried was the Caddy Stack. You have to have three golf balls and a level surface like a table or a desk. You have to stack three golf balls one atop the other (freestanding). I can't remember how long did it takes me to complete this challenge but I was very happy when I did it. 

       When I visited my family in the Philippines, I brought 6 golf balls with me. One night while we were watching tagalog soap opera with my relatives and my siblings, I told them that whoever finish the Caddy Stack challenge first with no time limit I will give him or her a two hundred pesos ($4.90). My cousin's boyfriend won the contest. I think he completed the challenge for more than an hour of trying.

A cup of coffee will complete my day

       I used not to love coffee way back when I was living in the Philippines. Everything changes when I came here in the US. My day is not complete if I can't have a cup of coffee in the morning. Sometimes I even go to Starbucks during my lunch break or after work because I can't help myself. But having to buy a cup of coffee every so often is getting more expensive. Beautiful Place to Retire, Florida Golf Course Communities

      Golf is one of the most popular sports these days. Sometime it is not cheap to play golf but it is very rewarding in the sense that every time you hit that ball and it lands in the area where you want it to be, it will give you that feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment. There are many people who have played golf since they were a child and still have the same passion as when they first started holding the club. Even when they get older and retire from work they still have have the same enjoyment as when they were younger. That is why many golf courses are still packed with golfers of all ages and living status because these people that are passionate about the sport they keep on pursuing. 

      I tried playing golf several times together with my husband but I don't have the same passion that he has. These past months he has been very consistent playing golf at least twice a week (although he wants to do it everyday) by himself or with a few old friends and newly met friends. Because of his passion, we are planning to move someday after he retires to a place where there is good weather, safe neighborhood and of course, golf courses nearby. We haven't decided where we are going to relocate to. I would prefer to migrate to a place where I am used to warm weather. I am sure my husband will consider my suggestion most especially if the place we are going to settle to is a part of the Florida Golf Course Communities. I am sure he will be ecstatic about the many choices of beautiful houses that we can own but most of all because he can play golf any time he wants without having to drive a long distance just to play in a nice golf course. Besides, living in a community where most people have the same interest will bring you closer to your neighbors because you have common interests to talk about. On top of it, playing golf is a good form of exercise. You'll not only be exercising physically but mentally as well. Golf is a very much a well-liked sport for just about anybody especially when playing in an area where there is good weather and many choices where you can play.

Lemon Grass

       Lemon grass is quite popular in the Philippines. We use it particularly in fish or vegetable soup and even in roasted pig and chicken. I really like the aroma of the Lemon grass. Every time I see a Lemon grass it will always remind me in the place where I grew up. I've tried several times to grow this grass in our backyard (here where I recently live) but I failed. I tried to plant it for the last time again and fortunately it survives even during the cold winter last year. I have two Lemon grass plant. Contemporary sofa for our living room

      Although our living room sofa set is still in good condition, my husband is thinking about replacing it. He said, he is no longer crazy about the color and besides he wants a contemporary sofa set or a corner sofa that will make our living room more lively and inviting.

Things you have to consider when buying kitchen curtains

Pinot Noir Grape

      Pinot Noir Grapes are tightly clustered dark purple pine cone shaped bunches of fruit. This grapes are grown around the world most especially in the cooler regions. It needs warm days and cool nights for its optimum growth. 

      When my husband and I bought this Pinot Noir Grapes in Armstrong few months ago, it bore flowers already. Fortunately after few weeks of regular watering, the grape vines started to climb in our gazebo and the flowers started to turn into a fruit. The fruits are not as big as the one you can buy at the grocery store but it is definitely tastier.
